Come, Little Leaves

"Come, little leaves, " said the wind one day, 

"Come o'er the meadows with me and play; 

Put on your dresses of red and gold, 

For summer is gone and the days grow cold." 

Soon as the leaves heard the wind's loud call, 

Down they came fluttering, one and all; 

Over the brown fields they danced and flew, 

Singing the glad little songs they knew.

Designed to echo the glorious golden days of autumn, the oak leaves with the acorn trio are created out of rich tones of gold, pumpkin and nut browns.  

Using a variety of specialty acrylics, a shimmer pearlescent gold lays the backdrop for the brighter hues of premium pumpkin glitter and translucent amber. The acorns feature a swirling cat-eye effect and the opaque acorn tops feature etched details.

To complete the brooch, the third smallest member of the trio dangles from chrome plated findings, able to dance as freely as an autumn leaf on the wind.
